History of Cruise Air Conditioners

It all started in the year 1992, with an idea to innovate and serve the requirements of a developing Indian air conditioning market with good quality and technically advanced products. Born and established in Mumbai – Seagull Cooling Pvt Ltd – was the organization that helped realize this idea, which its founders Mr. Paras Sirohia & Mr. S. K. Mishra had conceived.

Initially, in 1992, Seagull was formed as a fabrication house with a massive facility for manufacturing window air conditioning parts set up in Palghar, 40 miles from Mumbai. Scaling new heights in 1998, a brand new manufacturing and assembly plant for window and split type indoor & outdoor air conditioning units was set up in Dadra, Silvassa which is a Union Territory of India. In 2000, Sui Generis Appliances Pvt. Ltd. was acquired. Further expansion of the manufacturing facility was accomplished in 2007 to accommodate and deliver the OEM needs of some leading Indian air conditioning companies.

Cruise became the panoptic brand for all the various air conditioning products and accessories from complete air conditioners such as wall mounted split ac to cassette and floor standing ac, as well as indigenously developed and manufactured spare parts such as blowers, cooling coils to complete heavy duty condensing unit kits.

Today Cruise is a burgeoning market leader in the private sector of the Indian Air conditioning market introducing new technologies and products, and its satisfied customers are testimony to help achieve our endeavor to become the leading air conditioning player in the Indian subcontinent.
